About the Author

Michelle A. Darnell started writing as a way to decompress after a long day at work. Working with the public in a science heavy field, sometimes it's a nice change of pace when she can solve problems by throwing a fireball at them. When it turned out people enjoyed reading her stories, she decided to publish her novels so others would have the chance to enjoy them.

She grew up in Western Montana before moving to the Spokane, WA area in 1999. Michelle now lives in Eastern Washington with her husband and one incredibly spoiled cat. She enjoys hiking, especially when she can take her sisters and her camera with her. She also enjoys reading, painting and biking.
